Four people, including two children, were injured in a Wayne Township crash Sunday afternoon.
Around 2:32 p.m. Sunday Matthew Paxson, 22, was traveling eastbound on State Route 73 when he struck a vehicle driven by Sharon Rinckle, 52, of Midland Ohio. The crash occurred when Rinckel, driving a Dodge Stratus failed to yield while turning left onto Clarksville Road. Mr. Paxson's vehicle, a Ford F-350 struck Ms. Rinckel's vehicle on the right passenger side before Paxson's truck then traveled off the right side of the road and hit a guard rail.
Two children 10 and 12, that were passengers in the back of Rinckel's vehicle were flown by Care Flight to Children's Hospital in Dayton. The passenger in the front of the vehicle, Erica Roehm, 34 of Wilmington, as well as the driver were transported by ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital.
There were no injuries sustained to any of the passengers in Paxson's truck.
