TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Police are looking for suspects after a robbery attempt turned into a shooting overnight in north Toledo.
It happened around midnight on the 100 block of East Park near Lagrange Street in north Toledo.
Victim Steve Jones told police two people approached him and his two friends while they were walking. They robbed all three men, taking some cash and cell phones. Jones says he was shot in the rear as the robbers were getting away.
There are no suspects at this time.
Anyone with information is urged to call police. Tipsters are eligible for a reward by calling CrimeStopper at 419-255-1111.
