SOUTH EUCLID, OH (WOIO) -

Police are looking for the person who tried to rob a local teen of his tennis shoes during a possible armed robbery.

The incident recently happened in South Euclid and was stopped by a woman who happened to drive by and saw the crime in progress.

That good samaritan is Frances Moss and she says she had to help the 14 year old victim.  "I thought about just keep going, but I just remembered the young man's face, I could feel his fear"

Ms. Moss also got a good look at the suspects, gave their descriptions to police and one person was soon arrested.

"Something terrible could have happened because he did not give up his shoes" said Moss.

Ms. Moss was back at the South Euclid Police Department tonight looking at a line of suspects as police search for the other would be robber.
