CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A party ends on a bad note when innocent bystanders are caught in gunfire not intended for them.

On Saturday, November 10, 2012 at around 5:00a.m., police arrive at the Kinsman Party Center to find a man suffering from two gunshot wounds to his right leg.

Before the victim was transported to the Metro Health Medical Center, he told police that he was not the target during the incident.

Witnesses say that an altercation broke out in the club and that the shooter was heard yelling, "I got the hammer", an indication that he had a weapon.  Party-goers also said that as everyone was leaving the club, the shooter was seen waiting outside and that he just randomly started shooting into the crowd.

The victim said that he saw an altercation going on outside so he approached the men to break up the fight and that's when he was shot.  Those that saw his face said that shooter is referred to as "Twon".  The shooter is described as a black male, 5'6, 160 lbs, with brown eyes, red dreadlocks, and two star tattoos under his right eye.  Witnesses say that he was dressed in all black.

While on the scene of the crime, police received another call about a second victim who was apparently driven to the Cleveland Clinic.  No details are available on the second victims injuries.

Police are asking anyone with any information about this incident to contact them at 216.623.5050.
