31-year-old fatally shot in broad daylight in Akron

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

An investigation is underway after a man was fatally shot in Akron on Wednesday, November 14.

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as Jaquare Jackson, 31, from Storer Avenue.

Jackson was in a vehicle near the intersection of Copley Road and Edgewood Avenue just before 3 p.m. when he was shot.

He was rushed to Akron General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

There are no arrests at this time.
