CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

An early morning standoff at E. 64th and Harvard ended peacefully.

The incident started around 7:30 a.m. when police went to serve an arrest warrant for Darryl Coleman and he barricaded himself in the house.

Coleman had a 2-year-old child in the house with him at the start of the standoff, but he eventually let the child go.

Police had the area blocked off while they surrounded the house.

Just before 10 a.m. police entered the home and took Coleman into custody.  Two handguns were also recovered.

Coleman was wanted for the shooting death of Duane Jacobs, a clerk at the Yaya Market on Union Avenue.  The shooting happened back in September.
