Police say the Hamburger Station restaurant at 710 South Canton Road was robbed at gunpoint. It happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
Employees and customers tell Akron police two men approached the restaurant. One male entered the restaurant, while the second suspect stood outside as a lookout.
The suspect inside the restaurant ordered the entire restaurant, both employees and customers, not to touch their cell phones as he demanded money from the registers. The suspects fled westbound behind the building with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect inside the restaurant was hearing a black ski mask. The suspect standing outside was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron Police.
