Nathaniel Woods found guilty for the murder of Kimberly Bolton

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

After an 11 day trial a jury found Nathaniel Woods guilty of one count of aggravated murder, one count of gross abuse of a corpse, and one count of tampering with evidence.

On December 14, 2011, the 52-year old Cleveland man strangled the victim, Kimberley Bolton, 23, of Cleveland, at his residence on Edna Avenue.

 Woods then burned the victim's body near a house on Bayliss Avenue.

Cleveland Police were able to identify Bolton through fingerprints.

Woods was arrested on December 19, 2011.

Woods is scheduled to be sentenced on December 17.  He faces a maximum of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
