CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Two bank robbers were busted after an alert citizen led police to the crooks.

Police say the Key Bank on Fulton Road was robbed around noon Saturday by two white males.

As the males exited the bank, they were seen by an alert citizen who noticed that the dye pack had exploded, and sprayed paint onto one of the suspects.

The woman then contact police and kept an eye on the perps while talking to police, following them in her car.

Police responded and caught one of the men right away, and then caught up with the second guy after a brief foot pursuit.

The money was also recovered.
