Victim in deadly auto body shop shooting identified

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Police are investigating a shooting at an auto body shop on the city's east side.  It happened around 2:10 p.m. at Lotus and Miles.

Police say the victim, 46-year-old Eddie Morrison was approached by two teens, when one pulled out a gun and shot him in the stomach.

The Cleveland man was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he later died.

The motive for this shooting is unclear. 

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information in connection with this incident to contact the Fourth District Detective Bureau at 216-623-5218.
