BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
One person is dead after a single vehicle crash Tuesday night.
The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. on SR 132 just north of Mt. Pisgah Road.
According to reports, Allen Ray Barton, Jr., 23, was driving southbound on 132 when he drove off the right side of the road. Barton struck several objects including two mailboxes and a utility pole before flipping his vehicle.
He was pronounced dead the scene.
Police say that Barton was not wearing a seatbelt during the time of the crash.
It is unknown if alcohol was a contributing factor.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
