CLEVELAND, OH -

Cleveland officially welcomes the holiday with its annual Winterfest tradition.

The day long event is highlighted by the lighting of the tree ceremony.

Standing some 30 feet, the lighted tree in Public Square is now the center of attention.

The event also included live music and plenty of hot food.

If last year is any indication of crowd size, some 50-thousand people were expected to pass through the display today and tonight.
