FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) -

Fairfield Police say they are looking for two suspects in connection with a deadly home invasion over the weekend.

Just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, two armed men came into Julian Slaven's home at 5825 Judy Drive demanding money. The unknown suspects then shot Slaven, 19, to death.

Slaven's mother called 911, telling the dispatcher, "Someone shot my son."

Police say one suspect is white and the other is black. Their faces were partially covered and they fled the scene in a car. According to the 911 call, the car was white.

"We're watching TV and saw about six police cars go by and kind of peeked outside to see what was going on and noticed they were all up there on Judy in the cul-de-sac," said Cathy Levesque who lives nearby. "It was sad. He was a nice kid."

Levesque's daughter knew Slaven since she was in the fifth grade.

"He was a really, really nice person and its really upsetting to somebody like that to just no be here anymore," said Nicole Levesque. "All of my friends are really upset and everybody that knows him. Its really upsetting for the neighborhood."

Police say they don't believe this was a random shooting. An autopsy on Slaven is scheduled for Monday.
