Mystery odor makes itself known in Hamilton County suburbs

Fire departments in northeast Hamilton County and the Mill Creek valley are trying to find out what is causing a mysterious odor.

A county dispatcher says people started calling at 8:45 p.m. to report what sounds like it might be sewer gas. Duke energy and the Metropolitan Sewer Distract were also notified.

Places calls have come from include Golf Manor, Deer Park, Amberley, Reading, Silverton, Montgomery, Sycamore Township, Woodlawn and Blue Ash.
