CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A special visitor for a little boy recovering after being struck by a car in Avon Lake.

On November 6, 9-year-old Noah Venesile was hit by a car after chasing after a ball that had gone in the roadway while playing with neighborhood friends.

Noah is listed in fair condition at Metro.

Over the holiday weekend, his puppy paid him a visit. Delilah delivered plenty of kisses to Noah, and served as a wonderful therapy dog.

The accident that injured Noah remains under investigation. There are no charges against the 53-year-old driver at this time.
