Police say a 42-year-old mom is charged with domestic violence, after attacking her 17-year-old son.

It happened at the family's Lakeview home on Oct. 1.

Rocky River police say Dena Rice-Reynolds hurt her teenaged son by repeatedly slapping, hitting and punching him with a leather belt and closed fists, all over his face, head and upper torso.

Rice-Reynolds will be back in court on Nov. 29 for a pre-trial.
