23-year-old charged in Akron shooting death

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

A 23-year-old man charged in a deadly shooting in Akron.

Dierre Laneal Robinson is charged with Murder and Felonious Assault.

On November 19, Dierre and another man allegedly shot into a vehicle that was parked at 604 East Avenue. The driver died at the scene and the passenger received a gunshot to the shoulder.

The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Deshawn Dwayne Smith.
