Man busted for multiple break-ins in Elyria

ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) -

Elyria Police have a man in custody in connection with multiple break-ins in the city.

Police arrested Benjamin Krugman at 210 Gulf Road Monday night just before midnight as a result of an ongoing investigation.

Krugman has been charged with five counts of breaking and entering and one count of tampering with evidence.

The charges are related to two break-ins at the American Legion Hall on Ohio Street, two break-ins at Twist and Shake on Cleveland Street and one break-in at Ten 2 Ten on Cleveland Street.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.

Krugman is currently in the Lorain County Jail on $100,000 bond.
