Akron police arrest man who robbed pizza delivery driver

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Police say they have arrested the man who robbed a pizza delivery driver.

It happened on October 3 around 8:40 p.m. at Johnston Street and Johnston Court in Akron.

Police say Jequon Johnson pointed a gun at the Pizza Hut driver and demanded money. The driver handed Johnson $25 in cash and Johnson fled on foot.

Akron Police officers and U.S. Marshals arrested Johnson at his Delia Avenue home around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

He is now booked into the Summit County Jail.
