Cleveland (WOIO) - Rookie Dion Waiters is the latest Cavalier to get bitten by the injury bug. Waiters has a left ring finger contusion, however he has been cleared to continue to play through the injury and will continue to receive treatment.
Through 15 games this season, Waiters is averaging 15 points per game, and just under three assists per game.
Daniel Gibson has missed several games this season due to elbow soreness. On Wednesday, Gibson had another MRI which confirmed a right elbow contusion. He is day-to-day as he will also continue to receive treatment.
Through 12 games this season, Gibson is averaging 9.1 points per game and is shooting 43 percent from the three-point line.
The Cavaliers are already without starting point guard Kyrie Irving who is out with a broken finger for the next three weeks.
