CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the teen killed Thursday night on E. 140th as 16-year-old Julian Gaines of Cleveland.

Gaines was shot and killed around 6 p.m. Thursday at 3462 E. 140th.

Witnesses say the suspect followed Gaines into the apartment complex and shot him multiple times before fleeing the building.

The suspect remains on the loose.  He's described as a black male, late teens to early 20s wearing a blue jumpsuit and gray hoodie, armed with a black 9mm handgun.
