BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) -
The Clermont County Sheriff's Department is investigating the drowning of a 2-year-old boy.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Jared Lee Tincher, 2, was found not breathing beside a pool at 2921 Jackson Pike in Stonelick Township.
A 911 call made by the child's father, James Tincher, says that the boy's parents had put him to bed the night before and when they woke up, he was gone. After searching for the boy in the house, he was found in the backyard swimming pool. According to the 911 call, The parents did attempt to resuscitate the boy.
The boy was taken to Clermont Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
