Browns employee commits suicide at Berea facility

BEREA, OH (WOIO) -

It has been confirmed that the Cleveland Browns employee who committed suicide at the Berea facility on Saturday is identified as Eric Eucker.

Both the Browns organization and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed the suicide to 19 Action News.

The Browns released the following statement on Sunday:

"This is a terrible tragedy and our heartfelt condolences go out to Eric's family.  Eric was a good friend and colleague, and an outstanding employee.  He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization." 

No other details are being released at this time.
