20-year-old robbed of his pants in Akron

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

A 20-year-old man was robbed of his pants, hat and boots in Akron over the weekend.

The victim reported he was walking on Russell Avenue around 4 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Russell Avenue when the suspects approached him in a car.

The driver pulled up next to the victim and asked if they went to school together. The passengers exited the car and asked the victim if he had any money. The suspects then started punching and hitting the victim and took his hat, pants and boots before fleeing.

The victim had visible injuries on his face.

The suspects were four men, 20 - 25 years old. They were in a four-door, navy blue Chevy Impala.
