GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -
The United States Marshals have captured Marlon Ricks who was wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Garfield Heights Police Department for murder. Ricks, 41, is accused in the March 12th fatal stabbing of 25-year old Danielle Coleman, of Oakwood, at his Grace Avenue home in Garfield Heights. Her body was recovered under bedding in the back yard where she was stabbed 14 times in the head, neck and chest.
Ricks was paroled in 2011 after serving 20 years in prison for murder and kidnapping. He had fatally shot his stepfather in the head and then assaulted and kidnaped a woman in Euclid.
Since the warrant was issued in March of 2012 Ricks was profiled by the United States Marshals Service as a "Fugitive of the Week" and was profiled on various Billboards throughout Ohio.
On Monday December 3, 2012 at approximately 11 am, Deputy United States Marshals and members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force caught up with Ricks and apprehended him without incident in East Cleveland at the Windermere Rapid Station.
"Ricks is a violent individual with a violent past and I am proud of the men and women of the Task Force who made Ricks a priority capture and never quit pursuing him. I am also proud of the community that continues to call in tips of our previewed Most Wanted. That partnership continues to rid our streets of the most violent fugitives and makes our community a safer place," stated Pete Elliott the United States Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of a known fugitive is encouraged to contact the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at: 1-866-4-WANTED or text keyword WANTED and the tip to 847411(tip411). Tipsters may remain anonymous and a cash reward may be available.

The outlook for job in Northeast of Ohio looks pretty promising according to a new report released by Team NEO. In the next decade they estimate the area to add 150,000 jobs.
