Posted: Updated:
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

New details on a dog found shot twice in Cleveland Heights.

The mastiff now has a name - Forest.

Last month, a dog walker found him chained to a tree. He's now recovering in a foster home, but needs another surgery.

Donations for Forest's care are being accepted at pawsohio.org; 440-442-PAWS (7297).

Veterinarians need to remove a mass they found.

There are no arrests, but investigators are looking for fingerprints on a bullet removed from Forest.
