WALNUT HILLS, OH ( FOX19) -

A suspect is in custody after a kidnapping in East Walnut Hills.

Police say Anthony Joiner took the child of his estranged girlfriend from an unnamed location earlier this morning. The child was found safe.

Joiner barricaded himself inside a building in the 3000 block of Cleinview Ave in East Walnut Hills.

Around 10:15 a.m. police took Joiner into custody.

We don't know if charges will be filled in the kidnapping but police say Joiner had warrants for having a weapon under disability and fleeing and evading police so he was taken to jail.

The prosecutor will determine if other charges are filed.
