19 Action News gets action. A man is going to prison for robbing people right outside of their homes.

"This guy came up. Ran right up beside me in my driveway. He took my purse. I tried to get that, then we struggled momentarily," the 77-year-old victim told 19 Action News.

The elderly woman was robbed in her own driveway, one of six very similar cases last winter.  Oddly most on Thursdays, and most in the mornings, all around Lee Road near the Cleveland-Shaker border.

19 Action News teamed up with CrimeStoppers to find Anthony Lilliard. Fourth District investigators tied Lilliard to three robberies, and he quickly turned himself in.

A jury just convicted Lilliard for three hold-up, and he was sentenced to 14 years behind bars.
