WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

A woman was killed and another person injured following a double shooting in Westwood on Christmas night.

Police were called to a home on Penrose Place, just off of Boudinot Avenue around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

When they arrived, police say they found Kyila Shields, 20, dead from gunshot wounds.

Police on scene say the Shields was a mother, who'd recently had a baby.

The second gunshot victim was located at a nearby residence with non-life threatening injuries.

He was transported to University Hospital where he was treated and released.  Police are not releasing his name at this time.

Early Wednesday morning, police arrested Byron Frazier, 27 on murder and assault charges.

He was taken to the Hamilton County jail.
