SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A funeral was held on Monday for an 18-year-old woman killed in an accident on I-71.

Jessica Galley, 18, of Mason, was driving on the southbound side of 71 when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the median and hit cable barriers, causing her car to spin out of control.

She then hit a plow truck on the northbound side of 71. The snow plow blade impacted the driver's side door of the car, killing the woman upon impact. It happened just south of Fields Ertel Road.

The driver of the snow plow, Scott Wyrick, 46, was not injured during the crash.

Hundreds gathered on Sunday night for her visitation at Christ's Church in Mason. Her funeral was held at 10 a.m. on Monday.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, alcohol, drugs and speed are not considered to be contributing factors in the crash.
