
Kyrie Irving threw down 26 points and dished out 8 assists, and Tristan Thompson added a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, including a crucial three-point play late, as the Cavaliers held off the Wizards for their second straight win, 87-84 at Verizon Center.
Emeka Okafor scored 17 points for the Wizards, as did Jordan Crawford, who came off the bench to spark Washington.
But Dion Waiters hit a huge "3" late in the fourth quarter, and Daniel Gibson added 10 off the bench to make the difference.
