Fugitive wanted for nearly killing friend over dice game

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Anthony Dowell II.

Dowell is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Shaker Heights Police Department. Dowell is charged with attempted murder. It is alleged that back in October of this year, Dowell, shot and almost killed a friend after a minor dispute about a dice game. The victim made his way to safety by boarding an RTA bus.

Dowell is a 30-year-old black man standing approximately 5'11" and weighing 170 pounds. He has a black hair and brown eyes. Dowell is believed to be hiding in the Cleveland area. He also had a previous address near the 1000 block of Roanoke Road in Cleveland Heights.
