CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -
A neighbor alerted police to a burglary suspect Monday morning in Clifton.
Just before 9 a.m., the neighbor observed an individual in the vicinity of a residence whose occupants were out of town. When the suspect was observed looking in the windows, the neighbor called 911.
While
officers were en route, the suspect gained entry to the residence by breaking a
window.
Responding officers located and arrested the suspect as
he tried to flee from the house. Property taken from the residence was found on
the suspect's person.
The arrested individual is a male black, 17 years old,
from Juergens Avenue.
Officers credit the ability to make this arrest due to the timely 911 call by
the concerned neighbor.
