Red Cross helping Cleveland family after house fire

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Red Cross is now helping a family whose home is damaged in a fire.

The blaze started around 11 a.m. Tuesday at 1333 West 114th Street.

Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control quickly. Investigators say the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but it did start on the 2nd floor.

There was 1 adult and 2 kids living in the home, they were not injured.

A firefighter did suffer minor injuries fighting the blaze and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
