Ray Lewis, the Baltimore Ravens linebacker, and arguably greatest inside linebacker ever to play in the NFL, said he will retire at seasons' end.
Lewis, a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the year, has been to 12 Pro Bowls in 17 seasons, and is a certain first-ballot Hall of Famer.
The Ravens host the Indianapolis Colts in Round One of the playoffs on Sunday.
