IT Process Automation Software Innovator Earns Recogniton as a Top-Ranked Software Company on Annual Orange County Business Journal List
San Clemente, Calif. (PRWEB) January 03, 2013
gen-E (formerly generationE Technologies), a global IT process automation (ITPA) software company, today announced it has been named to the Orange County Business Journal’s 2012 list of “Fastest Growing Private Companies.” In making the annual list, gen-E was also ranked as one of the county’s top privately held software firms.
“We’re proud to be recognized as one of Orange County’s leading software companies and we see this as a significant honor in a region known for its technology, its business success and high employment rates,” said Casey Kindiger, CEO of gen-E. “We thank the Orange County Business Journal for this honor and will use it as motivation to continue to build upon the global growth and success we’ve earned through innovation and a software strategy that places human ingenuity at the forefront of workplace advancement. ”
The announcement coincides with rising worldwide demand for gen-E’s Resolve™ Social ITPA™ software and continued global expansion, prompting record year-over-year revenue growth along with a nearly 150 percent increase in staff and a doubling of office space at the company’s San Clemente, Calif. headquarters in 2012.
As part of this growth, gen-E has increased the size and scope of its global sales organization, with its pre-sales team growing by 250 percent in the past year. gen-E has also added to its executive leadership team and product marketing team, and hired employees in areas such as support, marketing and sales to serve operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
gen-E received a private equity investment in March 2012 to further fuel expansion across North America, Europe, Australia, South America and Southeast Asia. In Feb. 2012, the company changed its name to “gen-E” as part of a new worldwide branding effort to reflect its global software strategy focused on social IT process automation.
“The recognition caps an award-winning year for gen-E, coming on the heels of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist recognition, and a 2012 Golden Bridge Award for top female executive of the year for our executive vice president of marketing and managed services,” Kindiger added. “We look forward to even more success in 2013.”
