Stark County Sheriff-Elect unable to assume office

STARK COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

Due to extenuating circumstances concerning Sheriff Elect Chief Deputy Mike McDonald's health, it is the recommendation of his physician that he will be unable to assume the Office of Stark County Sheriff.

Chief McDonald will be seeking additional medical care regarding his condition.

    The outlook for job in Northeast of Ohio looks pretty promising according to a new report released by Team NEO. In the next decade they estimate the area to add 150,000 jobs. There is a bit a problem though and it will be finding the qualified and educated workers to fill the jobs especially in the medical industry. According to Jenny Febbs with Team NEO the challenge will be getting our young educated population to stay home as well as attracting people from other parts of the county.
