Police: Alcohol believed to be factor in deadly I-77 crash

GREEN, OH (WOIO) -

The 44-year-old man killed in a car crash on I-77 has been identified as Stacey Juniel of Akron.

Officials say Juniel was traveling northbound on I-77 just before 1 a.m. when he lost control of his Buick Park Avenue and flipped the vehicle.

Juniel was ejected from the car and EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. The three other passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police described their injuries as serious.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
