LOUISVILLE, OH (WOIO) -

Daniel and Jen Thomas found their puppy, Bella alive and well around 3 p.m. this afternoon.

Bella is a deaf, 16-month-old Boxer and the couple said that she had been missing since the day after Christmas.

After searching for Bella for hours, Jen put Bella's picture on Facebook, which was then shared over 2000 times and donations towards a reward had reached $600.

Jen said that her cousin had organized a big search party to help them look for Bella today and that they were to meet at a nearby park.  While on her way, she got a call from a guy that said he believed Bella was in his yard on Swallen Rd.

So she called her cousin and told her that they were going to follow the lead but for the search party to continue forth with their efforts.  The search party decided to meet Jen and Daniel on Swallen Rd.

Her cousin and the search party arrived there first and called Jen to break the good news that it was in fact Bella.

So the convoy of 25 people all gathered around the area to make sure that Bella didn't run away before Jen could get there.  Bella hid under Jen's cousin's car but came out once Jen and Daniel arrived.  They took her to the vet where she was given fluid and antibiotics for cuts and bruises.  She had lost about 15 lbs and was malnourished.  She says Bella has been sleeping all day which the vet says is normal.

This family is grateful to all the people that helped them look for Bella and are glad to have her back home.
