Hawks general manager Danny Ferry was fined $15,000 by the NBA Monday for ‘inappropriate interaction' with the game officials following Saturday's loss to the Celtics at Philips Arena.
The league did not reveal the reason for the penalty.
According to a person familiar with the situation, Ferry handed game officials a DVD following the 98-91 loss to the Celtics at Philips Arena.

Yeah, that's not going to go over well.
The Hawks finished with seven more free throws in that game, and just four more personal fouls, but shot just 14 of 29 at the rim, according to NBA.com. This was the same game that earned Celtics PG Rajon Rondo a one-game suspension for "sheepdogging" an official.
