AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Around 9:30am Wednesday morning, Tamika Williams was arrested for assaulting a teacher and a 12 year old male student at Litchfield Middle School.

Police say the 14-year old was yelling and screaming as she was chasing a 12 year old boy down the hallways.

She then threw a notebook binder at the male. When the binder missed the male, he ran into a classroom where Tamika continued to chase him.

Tamika then knocked the classroom teacher over in an attempt to get to the male student. As the teacher was trying to protect the male student from Tamika, she shoved the teacher and ran out of the classroom.

No injuries were reported.  Williams was released into the custody of a family member.

Back in October of last year, Tamika Williams was involved in another altercation with a school resource officer at Jennings Community Learning Center, located at 227 East Tallmadge Avenue.
