Newtown superintendent heads to Washington, D.C.

NEWTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Newtown's superintendent of schools is heading to Washington, D.C., to discuss ways to prevent gun violence.

Janet Robinson is scheduled to be part of a panel discussion Wednesday.

The panel is expected to focus on what can be done to prevent gun violence based on actual experiences of the panelists.
