Pat Shurmur interviews with Carolina for offensive coordinator jobThe Browns and Panthers are connected again in coaching jobs.
Former Browns head coach Pat Shurmur interviewed in Charlotte on Monday for the Panthers offensive coordinators position. The same position Rob Chudzinski left to take the Browns head coaching job.
Shurmur would likely have to change his offensive philosophy if he's hired by the Panthers. Carolina likes to run a vertical passing game, not the West Coast offense, which is Shurmur's bread and butter.
The Panthers also Bengals assistant coach Hue Jackson for the same position.
