FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) – House of Awards and Shoes in Findlay was robbed over the weekend.

Thieves got inside by throwing a brick through a window. They stole several pairs of Nike shoes, worth $140 each. Now the store is out at least $1,000, but the owner said she's grateful the damage wasn't worse.

"We're lucky nobody had a gun," said owner Kathy Linheart. "There's a lot worse stuff going on, but it is challenging."

Unfortunately, the store's insurance will not cover the loss.
