GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Icy conditions wreaked havoc on Gregg County highways this morning.

Longview Police remain on the scene of an accident on I-20 at the Sabine River Bridge in Gregg County. This latest wreck is involving one vehicle that lost control and overturned after hitting an ice patch on the bridge. Earlier Monday morning there was an 8 to 10 car pile up on the bridge, but that wreck has cleared.

Two separate wrecks involving up to 11 vehicles on Highway 31 at the Sabine River Bridge had traffic shut down for about an hour.

Gregg County authorities are urging commuters to use extreme caution traveling on bridges and overpasses this morning.
