PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

A Painesville Township man accused of pawning items stolen from his parents house.

Police say 30-year-old Scott Stasienko and his 19-year-old girlfriend, Josie Sidoti, forcibly entered the home of Stasienko's parents on Overlook Drive.

The couple later pawned or sold several items at various pawn and cash for gold shops in Lake County. The stolen goods included a firearm, World War II memorabilia, knives, jewelry, collector coins, and antique typewriter and a bank check.

Stasienko was arrested on January 11 on an unrelated Domestic Violence charge, and was subsequently charged with Burglary. Sidoti was located and arrested Monday, and was charged with Burglary and other additional criminal charges may be filed.

Several articles of this stolen property were recovered during the course of this investigation.
