CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Prison inmate Robert Wolford plead guilty Tuesday in connection with lying about whereabouts of Amanda Berry.

Wolford claimed he had information about Berry, who was 16 when she went missing in 2003. His claim led to massive dig on west side.

Wolford was eventually indicted on charges of obstructing justice, making false alarms and falsification.

A judge sentenced him to four-and-a-half years, to run concurrent with time he's already doing.

He was also slapped with a $10,000 fine.

Amanda was one day shy of her 17th birthday when she went missing on her way home to her birthday party. She disappeared after leaving her job at Burger King at West 110th Street and Lorain Avenue.
