Dion Waiters scored a career-high 33 points off the bench, but it wasn't enough as the Cavaliers lost to Sacramento 124-118.
DeMarcus Cousins lead the way for the Kings with 26 points, 14 rebounds and six assists.
The 118 points scored by the Cavaliers was a season-high for the team. They have now lost three straight, and eight of their last ten games.
Things got a little chippy in the third quarter when Cousins was called for a technical and a flagrant foul less than a minute apart.
The west coast road trip continues on Wednesday when they play the Blazers in Portland. Tip-off is set for 10:00 PM.
