STONELICK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police are trying to find a suspect who broke into a woman's home and took several items, including the ashes of the her deceased husband.

The 71-year-old woman returned to her in Stonelick Township at around 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 and found her front door kicked in. 

The victim told police the ashes were in a decorated wooden box that sat on a dresser in her bedroom. Police believe the crooks mistakenly assumed the box contained items of monetary value.
