The Chicago Bears hired Marc Trestman as their next head coach, replacing Lovie Smith who was fired on December 31.
Trestman was the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League for the past five years, which included two Grey Cup titles.
He was interviewed by the Browns for their head coaching job before Rob Chudzinski was hired last week.
Trestman will officially be introduced at a Thursday morning press conference.
